Our mission at Bruised Reed Ministries is to provide tools and services that inspire and enable people to seek an intimate relationship with God. Intimacy is cultivated when the Word of God and the Spirit of God are integrated into the fabric of daily life—not just in moments of crisis or ceremony, but in the everyday rhythms of work, rest, and reflection.
Our vision is to see the lives of millions transformed by this type of integration. That’s why we launched TheGospelPreached.org.
This video curation platform is more than a library of sermons. It reflects the astounding way God is using different voices—each uniquely gifted with insight into a particular dimension of our faith—to paint a fuller, richer picture of who He is and what He desires for individuals and for humanity. When these voices are woven together, they create a beautiful and abundant tapestry of divine revelation. The Gospel Preached brings these diverse teachings into one place and organize them in a way that supports deeper engagement and practical insight.
With the help of technology, we’re able to amplify—not alter—the truths being spoken and link them directly to the Scriptures they reference. In doing so, The Gospel Preached supports our deeper purpose: to help people not only hear God’s Word but live it—carrying it with them into the everyday moments where faith becomes real.
Watching a sermon online has frequently been a portal for the Holy Spirit to enter my living room, and as a result, I’ve had many life-changing encounters with God. I firmly believe that God created and uses recorded video media, and that He does not reject the influence it can have on humanity, but rather desires that we use it for His purposes. Also, rather than discouraging me from attending church, I noticed that watching video sermons at home encouraged me and led me back to active face-to-face involvement, but this time with a new attitude and purpose for coming. Rather than focusing my church attendance and motivation on the quality of the day’s sermon, I find my primary focus is encountering God together with the community of God and serving others.
