Sycamore Tree Ministries was born out of a simple conviction: Our lives are much more joyous, fulfilling, and purposeful when we relate to the Holy Spirit as our always-present partner and guide, rather than settling for mere intellectual knowledge of Him.

God will make Himself known to us in ways we can sense—sometimes even physically—so we have no doubt that He is present and speaking. These encounters strengthen our trust and assurance that He is real and He is for us. Being in God’s manifest presence—even for short periods of time—transforms us at our core, giving us the power to live courageously and successfully.

This is why we show people how to invite and to live in His manifest presence without fear or hesitation. We do this by hosting worship sessions in homes and workplaces—places outside of church where life happens. These gatherings become spaces of encounter, where people learn how to welcome the Spirit and experience His presence firsthand.

Understandably, some people are still hesitant. There have been centuries of controversy over whether God reveals Himself in such a personal way, but sentiment has changed over the last hundred years. Christians from nearly every denomination have increasingly embraced tangible, life-giving encounters with the Holy Spirit. We believe it important that all Christians embrace being with the Holy Spirit in this way.

This work is deeply personal for me. I never would have survived my own journey without knowing the Spirit in like this. These experiences are hard to understand. But rather than directing people to Bible passages or trying to explain them with words, we focus on showing them the way through actual encounters.

Sycamore Tree Ministries is was created to help others experience the benefits of genuine friendship with the Holy Spirit—not only by teaching about who He is, but by showing how to enter His presence and be transformed by it.

The ministry is in the pilot stage right now. We will provide more information when the ministry is fully launched.
