Kevin Washington

Kevin Washington, M.A. in Theology with a concentration in Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, is the founder of Bruised Reed Ministries.
Kevin has more than 44 years of IT experience, which includes software development, database and application architecture, IT management, and project management. He is currently the Vice President of Contract Logistics for a third-party logistics provider, where he manages a workforce of 700 individuals and a $100 million book of business. He also heads their IT department, where he was recently tasked with modernizing IT operations and technologies. After a few years away from IT, he was excited to return to it, where he began as a software developer and database designer over 40 years ago.
Kevin has led IT organizations in medium businesses and served in worldwide IT Director roles in multi-billion-dollar corporations. His leadership experience spans globe, where he has led offshore development teams, IT infrastructure organizations, and enterprise project management offices. One of his most challenging and enjoyable tasks WAS working as a project manager for a team designing and implementing a global IT organization.
His diversified background encompasses leadership and ministry in addition to information technology. His love for leadership was fueled further when he oversaw IT for Senn-Delany Leadership, a culture shaping firm that is now part of Heidrick & Struggles, a global leadership transformation firm. He gained a thorough awareness of how people and culture are the keys to success. His love and care for people were fueled further when he got a call to ministry and obtained a master's degree at Fuller Seminary. His faith has ignited within him a deep responsibility to serve humanity, beginning with those closest to him: his family, friends, colleagues, and business partners. He has a diverse background that encompasses leadership and ministry in addition to information technology. His passion for leadership was spurred when he led IT for Senn-Delany Leadership, a culture shaping agency that is now a division of Heidrick & Struggles, a global leadership transformation firm. He developed a thorough understanding of how people and business culture are critical to success. His love and caring for others were driven even more when he received a call to ministry and earned a master's degree from Fuller Seminary. His faith has instilled in him a strong desire to serve humanity, starting with those closest to him: his family, friends, coworkers, and business partners.
Kevin is married and lives in Los Angeles, California. He has two daughters and a son. When he is not busy with his main hobbies of ministry and investigating new technology, he enjoys golf and the arts.

Linda Cage, B.S. Degree, Treasurer and Vice President of Finance, retired as the Risk Management Vice President of City National Bank, where she worked for 35 years. Linda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Redlands in Redlands, California. During her tenure at City National, Linda achieved several milestones including earning multiple promotions, receiving awards for surpassing yearly monetary goals, leading the United Way workplace giving drive for several years, serving on the Century City Chamber of Commerce Board for 5 years, and mentoring young employees.
In her retirement, Linda actively volunteers for the Red Cross, the Bereavement Ministry at her church, and her community neighborhood board. She has traveled extensively to various countries for vacations as well as missionary work, such as China, Greece, Paris, Australia, Fiji, Spain, Morocco, Canada, East, Central, and West Africa. Linda is very active in her church, Crenshaw Christian Center. She recently started a home-based crafts ministry, Mason Jars Ministries, focused on fostering a since of gratitude in people, enhancing their spiritual enrichment. This practice has contributed to a more fulfilling, hopeful, and joyful life journey for herself and those around her. In her leisure time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and walking. Linda is a proud mother of two sons, Anthony and Immanuel.

Sandra Carter, B.A. Degree, Secretary and Vice President of Fund Development, is a retired Los Angeles Urban League, Vice President of Programs. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University Long Beach and taught school in the US Virgin Islands before returning to the US and accepting a position at the Urban League. Sandra managed a budget of $50 million and over 300 employees during her 37 years with the League. One of the most significant programs she incubated, managed and grew to national prominence was the Urban League Data Processing Training Center, later titled the Urban League’s Technology Center, a program managed and operated by Urban League in collaboration with private corporations, Bank of America and IBM. Hundreds of African Americans and others owe their careers in technology to this program which proved to be a powerful force in bringing minorities into technology as the industry began to take root in the 1970s and 80s. The program gained national prominence and recognition under Sandra’s leadership, with awards from private corporations and governmental agencies. This led Sandra to become nationally known as a coach and ambassador within the National Urban League’s 180 affiliates to plant similar programs in cities around the nation.
Sandra’s career was marked by effective collaborations with private and public enterprises that benefited our nation and society as a whole. A few of her outstanding accomplishments include: serving on various boards for the city and county of Los Angeles, such as the Community Development Private Industry Investment Boards, Mayor’s Task Force on Youth, and the 1982 Olympics Planning Committee. After her retirement, she continued to consult for various non-profits, through her consulting firm, S. Carter Consulting. Her consulting engagements include facilitating board of director retreats for non-profit organizations, consulting for other Urban League affiliates, and being a Department of Labor panelist. Sandra has traveled extensively in the States and to such countries as the Virgin and Caribbean Islands, China, Australia, Fiji, Canada and Mexico. She is a 20-year member of Faithful Central Bible Church and has been married to her husband, Ardis for 53 years.

Brandon Blanchard

Brandon Blanchard, B.A. Degree, University of Lavern in California, is the VP of Operations for Bruised Reed Ministries.
Brandon has been in executive leadership positions for over 30 years. He is currently a District Manager at Arbon Equipment Corporation (parent/Rite-Hite). Brandon has served as a Regional, General and Branch Manager with global and regional corporations such as Aramark, Orkin, and Prudential Overall Supply.
He previously served as a member of the City of Chino’s School Board. Brandon is currently a member of the City of Chino’s Planning Commission, where he continuously gets reappointed and has served for well over ten years. He has served two terms as its chairperson. Brandon is a leader in men’s Christian ministries, where for decades he has served as a co-leader, participant, and servant. Brandon has been married to his wife for 39 years, with two adult daughters.

Anthony Washington

Anthony Washington has been a pivotal figure at Crenshaw Christian Center since November 2001, as a volunteer. In 2011 he was appointed to work in the Helps Ministry where he is now the Coordinator. He oversees many responsibilities essential to the smooth operation of the ministry, such as ensuring each applicant meets eligibility criteria’s, manages the ministry’s computer database, manages online profiles for over 1,500 volunteers and workers, and ensures compliance with requirements such as fingerprinting and TB tests for volunteers working with children. This is done while also assisting the Vice President of Administration with various tasks.
Prior to his role at Crenshaw Christian Center, Anthony served as the Supervisor of Office Administration at Variety Publications for over 15 years, from May 1993 to February 2009. Anthony's church made him the lead coordinator in working with FEMA and the American Red Cross, to aid Hurricane Harvey victims in Texas. His service led him to be honored as a FEMA Building Resilience Honoree and being invited to the White House to participate in the Individual and Community Preparedness (ICP) Awards and the Building Resilience with Diverse Communities (BRDC) ceremony. His commitment to volunteering extends to donating blood platelets for 14 years and his active involvement in coordinating Covid Response services to his church and the community. Recognized for his outstanding dedication, Anthony received special recognition from Crenshaw Christian Center and was awarded the 2010 Helps Ministry Worker of the Year for his service to the Family Network. Anthony is committed to God, his church and his community. He continues to make a profound impact in his community and beyond.

Patricia Rogers is a member of the board of directors of Bruised Reed Ministries. She is President of DAAR Services, Inc. Moorpark, CA, a company she started when she retired from California Bank and Trust, in 2018. Her firm fosters productive relationships between businesses, individuals, and financial partners. Patrician has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Her experience before she retired was as a Vice President and Senior Relationship Banker with California Bank & Trust in Los Angeles, CA, from 2014 to 2018, and Senior Private Banker, at City National Bank, Century City, CA, from 2007 to 2014. These responsibilities have carried over to the firm she founded, DAAR Services, Inc.
Pat is quite accomplished and loves to keep busy. She is Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish, completed UCLA CFP coursework and obtained PFP certification, was a member of the Latina Leadership Program, USC 2015, has a Personal Financial Planning Certificate, UCLA Extension, 2002–2005, has completed numerous Business Management Courses, UCLA Extension, 1990–1993, and attended Universidad Tecnologica, 1981–1984. She is prolific in technologies, including AI. Pat is affiliated with and serves on the following non-profit boards: Alta Public Schools, Pearl of Hope; and the Santa Monica Symphony. Patricia is an active Christian in her church.

Brenda Lee

Pastor Brenda C. Lee has a remarkable journey of faith that began at a young age when she had a powerful encounter with Jesus at the age of 7. Despite not being raised in a church, she recognized Him immediately and later accepted Christ at the age of thirteen. This encounter ignited a lifelong passion to seek more about Jesus and to help others experience the same freedom and healing she found. Guided by her deep spirituality and spiritual gifts, Pastor Brenda devoted herself to inner healing and deliverance ministry, becoming an intercessor, elder, and leader in various ministries over the years. Brenda Lee was ordained a Pastor in 2006.
Her dedication to serving God and His people led her to become a licensed Pastor at New Visions Christian Fellowship Church in 2001. Throughout her journey, Pastor Brenda co-founded Covenant Prayer and spearheaded ministries like "Come Get to Know Him," demonstrating her commitment to helping others experience spiritual wholeness. She received a certificate from American Association of Christian Counselors. With a loving family by her side and a deep-rooted faith, Pastor Brenda continues to live out her calling to see people healed and made whole, echoing the words from Mark 10:52 by striving to guide others towards finding their own spiritual sight and following Jesus in the way of faith. She has been married to Dwayne Lee for 36 years. She has 8 children and 9 grandchildren.
